Once the Machine Runs, Your Job Is Fuel, Not Labour.

When the system works, your role transforms. You're no longer doing the deals - the machine does them. Your job becomes feeding it: more demand, more suppliers, more capital, more reach. You pour fuel in one end and money comes out the other. The temptation to dive back into the labour, to do it yourself because you do it best, is the thing that keeps most people small.

Resist it. The operator who insists on staying in the engine room can never grow past his own two hands. The one who steps out, takes the fuel-pourer's seat, and spends his time making the machine bigger - that's the one who builds something that outgrows him. Work on the machine, not in it.
